About Me

I was born and raised in Northern California. I attended college at Tulane University and medical school at St. George’s University in the Caribbean, including two years in New Jersey for my clinical study. I completed my adult psychiatry residency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University and then moved to Memphis, Tennessee, for a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. I moved to Colorado to practice at Kaiser Permanente and am excited to call Denver home.

About my practice

I am passionate about the mental health and well-being of my patients and I strive to provide the high-quality care to my patients that I would want for myself or my family. While I trained in child psychiatry, I enjoy also working with adults and feel my background working with children helps me work with patients of all ages. I understand how important it is for everyone to be treated as an individual and not let their condition or disease define them. I provide trauma-informed patient care using an evidence-based, multidisciplinary team approach. I enjoy collaborating with our team of therapists, nurses and pharmacologists to provide individualized patient care that addresses your biological, psychological and social needs.

How I thrive

When not at work, I enjoy cooking, dancing, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my cat and family.
