Biography

I was born in the Central Valley of California and spent most of my childhood in the Sacramento area. I attended UC San Diego for my undergraduate studies, receiving a degree in biochemistry. I then moved to the Bay Area to study medicine at UC San Francisco. Once I completed medical school, I moved 40 miles south to participate in the otolaryngology/head and neck surgery residency at Stanford Hospital. I'm now happy to call Southern California home and I'm enjoying my practice at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center. I chose to practice with Kaiser Permanente because I can spend my time focused on delivering patient-centered care.

About my practice

I specialize in the medical and surgical management of ailments affecting the ears, nose, and throat. This includes the evaluation and treatment of chronic ear infections, hearing loss, nasal breathing difficulties, chronic sinus infections, voice and swallowing problems, salivary gland disorders, and tumors of the head and neck. My practice includes both children and adults.

How I thrive

I am a believer in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of health in body, mind, and spirit. I strive to live a balanced, healthy life and encourage my patients to do the same. When not at work, I enjoy running, cycling, hiking, traveling, and spending time with my family.
