About Me

Hello! Welcome to my Web page. I am an orthopedic surgeon specializing in adult reconstruction and joint replacement.

Biography

After finishing college and medical school in Minnesota where I grew up, I moved to Boston to complete my orthopedic training at the Harvard Orthopedic Residency Program. From there, I moved to New York City, where I completed specialty training in joint replacement. I joined Kaiser Permanente many years ago out of training and love my practice here in Orange County.

About my practice

Most of my practice is dedicated to treating members suffering from debilitating arthritis of the hips and knees. As an orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthritis surgery and adult reconstruction, there is nothing more satisfying to me than seeing members out of pain and getting their function restored after a joint replacement. Seeing this improvement in members’ quality of life keeps me excited to come into work every day. I am also very fortunate to have a great team of individuals working with me here at Kaiser Permanente in Orange County. Advancing the field of joint replacement is also very important to me, so I am continually involved in research and other ways to improve our field.

How I thrive

Although my work as an orthopedic surgeon keeps me quite busy, I find it critical to have an appropriate work-life balance. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling and staying active with swimming, cycling, and running.
