About Me

Welcome to my Web page. It is an honor to serve families by providing a medical home that focuses on all aspects of health and healing.

Biography

I am originally from New York and grew up with parents who are both physicians and who serve our immigrant population. I moved to Los Angeles for a fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology. After my clinical year, I realized I wanted to focus on preventing cancer, not treating it. My experience with those children and their families taught me how important our health is and that we must live each moment with gratitude. Before coming to Kaiser Permanente, I spent seven years volunteering as a medication teacher to homeless men and women in Los Angeles.

About my practice

I believe the mind and body are connected. To treat illness effectively, we must look at all the facets of a child’s life: physical, emotional, and social. I emphasize breastfeeding, early childhood development, nutrition, stress management, and incorporate mindfulness meditation techniques in my pediatric practice, when applicable.

How I thrive

I am proud to be part of the Physician Wellness Team at Kaiser Permanente, which is dedicated to keeping our physicians healthy. I enjoy meditation to keep my mind, body, and spirit clear and calm. I love spending time with my husband and daughter and biking to the beach. I also love Cuban salsa, hiking, and yoga.
