About Me

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my Web page. I am excited to share some information about myself. I hope this page will help you get to know me.

Biography

I was born in Bakersfield but left to live on the East Coast at an early age. I attended Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore for my undergraduate education and received my medical degree and master’s in public health from Tufts University in Boston. Next, I completed my residency training in obstetrics/gynecology at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York. Now, I am pleased to be returning to Bakersfield to join the obstetrics/gynecology team at Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

I love the variety that comes with practicing obstetrics/gynecology — it is one of the many reasons I chose this specialty. My training in both medicine and public health gives me a rich understanding of the complex nature of caring for women throughout all stages of their lives. I believe that understanding the various factors that contribute to and impact health are essential for providing comprehensive care. It is a privilege to be able to partner with members in order to help them to manage their health.

How I thrive

I absolutely love to travel, and I try to visit new places as often as possible. However, when I’m not able to get away, I really enjoy cooking, and I am an avid reader.
