About Me

I was born and raised in the Philippines. When I was 16 years old, I moved to Minnesota, where I lived with a sponsor family for four years. In the early 1980s, I moved to San Francisco to attend the University of San Francisco and California College of Podiatric Medicine. In 2002, I moved with my family of four to Honolulu. I am now home!

About my practice

My father, brother, and sister were physicians and I wanted to be like them since I was a youngster, and this inspired me to study medicine. Because I have always been interested in sports, I thought that specializing in podiatry would allow me to keep work interesting. At Kaiser Permanente, the physicians, nurses, and staff are first-rate. Not only are they great people, but they are very supportive and very good at their jobs. I appreciate our team approach to patient care and believe it can serve as a model for other health care organizations. As a podiatrist, I value getting to know my patients on a personal basis rather than just focusing on their feet. In my practice, I aim to treat my patients like they are my parents, brothers, and sisters.

How I thrive

For exercise, I walk my dogs almost every morning and work out with weights as often as I can. In my free time, I enjoy time spent with friends and family. I like working in the yard, playing with the dogs, and coaching my children in sports.
