About Me

I always knew I would become a doctor, even as far back as my elementary school days in the suburbs of Denver. After completing my medical training, which ranged from as close as Denver and Albuquerque to as far away as Tel Aviv, my family decided to settle down in the Boulder area to enjoy what Colorado has to offer. I enjoy hiking and camping with my wife and two kids in the summer. We finally have our young ones on skis when the snow is falling! I have really enjoyed working at Kaiser Permanente as a gastroenterologist, helping provide exceptional care for our patients on a daily basis. I look forward to helping you as best as I can!

About my practice

I went into gastroenterology because it is a great combination of cerebral medicine and surgical-type technical skills. I enjoy all aspects of gastroenterology, from colon cancer screening and biliary tract diseases to liver disease, Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis. My practice of gastroenterology is limited to adults 18 years and older, and most consultations and procedures require a referral. I am a very open and honest physician who is not as formal as most. I feel this helps me connect with my patients in a meaningful way. Kaiser Permanente has provided a great support system to allow a multidisciplinary approach to health care, which empowers me to take the best care of my patients as possible.

How I thrive

Outside of my professional duties, I enjoy hiking, backpacking, skiing and travel. In the past I have spent time in remote parts of India providing free medical care to those in need. I hope to get back to this again soon!
