About Me

Welcome, and thank you for visiting my Web page. It is my great pleasure to introduce myself. I came from a large family and from an early age was tasked to take care of my younger family members.

Biography

I am originally from Moscow. My mother was a nurse in a children’s hospital, and she served as an inspiration for me to help others from a young age. After completing medical school, I attended my internal medicine residency in New York. Having a passion for learning, I continued my professional medical education by attending UC San Diego’s geriatrics medicine fellowship, followed by another fellowship in hospice and palliative care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

About my practice

I work in the continuing care department where as a team we serve geriatric members with complex medical conditions as well as members with advanced incurable disease. We help them navigate through the medical system and assist with advanced care planning and pain and symptom management.

How I thrive

I am married with a son, and as a family we truly enjoy living in San Diego, which allows us so many great opportunities for outdoor pursuits. We enjoy walking, swimming, and the zoo. I consider myself fortunate to work for Kaiser Permanente, which understands the necessary balance between work and life and gives us the tools to serve the members we care for.
