About Me
I grew up in a sports-oriented family in Everett, Washington. I played multiple sports for the local high school (Go Seagulls!). In college, I majored in human biology and decided to go into medicine to pursue my interest in studying the human body, diseases and treatments. After an internal medicine residency and a sports medicine fellowship, I practiced with the Franciscan Medical Group in Seattle, Washington, for 13 years. For climate reasons, our family moved to the wonderful, sunny city of Denver in 2011.
About my practice
I am an internist who is board certified in both internal medicine and sports medicine. I enjoy the breadth of adult primary care and trying to keep people healthy and active. I believe health care is best delivered in an environment of mutual respect, trust and compassion.
How I thrive
Outside of work, I enjoy spending family time with my wife, young daughter and two black labs. Among other things, we like to hike, ski and explore together. I love my Seahawks football, but have also come to embrace the Broncos (since they are in separate divisions). We have had a great time getting to know Colorado.
