About my practice

Internal medicine is the ideal specialty for me because of my general interest in all aspects of medicine. It also provides opportunities to treat a wide variety of medical conditions.

Working within Hawaii Permanente Medical Group enables me to spend time with my patients during appointments, not only treating them but also hearing about the different non-medical aspects of their lives. Getting to know my patients on a more personal level is genuinely interesting and helps us to build a comfortable relationship.

My philosophy of care is to simply treat the member, which I'm able to do through the coordination of specialties and resources made available by Kaiser Permanente Hawaii. This makes providing the best patient care almost effortless, in my opinion. 

How I thrive

In the past I was very involved in my children’s activities, but since my youngest has graduated from high school, I am left wondering what to do with myself. I would love to rediscover golf and gardening as ways to keep myself physically active. To relax, I like to get lost in a good television show or browse the Internet.
