About Me

I was born and raised in Decatur, Indiana. The military brought me to Hawaii and after retiring from the Army, we decided to stay here. My wife is from Thailand and she loves Hawaii. That played a big part in our decision to stay.

About my practice

Inspired by my hometown doctor, I pursued a medical career because I wanted to help people. I like taking care of injured patients, as with orthopedics there is usually less prolonged disability. Through the military, I received my training as a physician assistant and attended their orthopedics specialty training program. I belong to the Hawaiian Academy of Physician Assistants and am in charge of their annual conference. Improving the quality of life of our patients is important and I enjoy interacting with our patients with humor. I strive to treat each of them as family.

How I thrive

Enjoying sports, watching a good movie, working in my yard, and listening to music help me relax and rejuvenate in my free time.
