About Me

I am originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, and no, I have not climbed Mount Everest! I received my medical degree in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and completed my family medicine residency training at Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska. My husband and I decided to move to Colorado to be close to family, friends, and of course, the mountains, since I am used to seeing mountains when I wake up in the morning!

About my practice

I am board certified in family medicine and enjoy taking care of individuals in the context of their family and community. I am particularly interested in promoting health through prevention and providing comprehensive care based on evidence.

How I thrive

I share common hobbies with my husband including watching action movies, hiking, reading and trying different food. My husband and I sometimes play music together. He plays guitar and I join him in Madal (a double-headed hand drum commonly used in Nepalese folk music). I also try to maintain a healthy lifestyle by spending quality time with my friends and family, meditating and exercising regularly.
