About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician.

Biography

I grew up in Southern California, leaving to complete my medical training in Northern California at UCSF and Stanford University. I decided to come back home to Southern California to be closer to my family. I chose medicine after falling in love with the sciences and wanting to make a difference in people’s lives. I was drawn in particular to world of neonatology because the connections that I was able to make—not only with each infant, but with the whole family as well. The days after birth are so critical, and I wanted to be a part of helping each infant and family through that transition, medically and emotionally.

About my practice

I currently practice at both Kaiser Permanente NICUs in Orange County. I am particularly interested in neuroprotective strategies to help improve neurological outcomes in our neonatal population. I practice evidence-based medicine and continue to focus on clinical research.

How I thrive

My passions are my family, my practice, travelling, and reading. I believe in taking time each day to appreciate the small things.
