About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente and have some of the best physicians in San Diego as colleagues to help me care for you, our members.

Biography

I grew up in Ventura County, but I consider myself a native San Diegan at heart. My parents are from San Diego, and I’ve loved San Diego ever since I first visited as a child. I attended UC San Diego and after medical school came back to make San Diego my home. I had the good fortune to be treated by caring physicians when I was a child. This instilled in me from a young age the desire to be a physician, and to emulate that care when I take care of my own patients.

About my practice

Whether your emergency is big or small, I want to be there when you need me to help you and your family through your illness. I strive to treat all my patients, no matter what their problem, with sincerity and kindness, the way I’d want my own family to be treated. I want to discuss your concerns and help you understand your illness so that we can be partners in getting you well. At Kaiser Permanente, I have found a group of caring physicians, nurses, and staff who are committed to working every day as a team to bring you the best care.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in life is important. I love my work, but in my time off I enjoy our beautiful weather and spend as much time as I can by the water, biking, jogging, surfing, or sailing. I try to eat well, get enough sleep, and exercise. I feel that more attention to those three simple things can help all of us be healthier and happier.
