About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have the opportunity to introduce myself. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.

Biography

I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Guadalajara, Mexico. After graduating from medical school at the University of Guadalajara, and completing surgical specialty training at the University of Guanajuato, my wife and I decided to come to the United States to be closer to our extended family. After learning English, and completing my obstetrics and gynecology training at Morristown Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical School in New York, my wife and I decided to come to California. I chose Kaiser Permanente for its passion for preventive care, advanced technologies in medicine and surgery, and the people.

About my practice

Medicine offers a very special opportunity to help people in a meaningful way. I enjoy working with women in each phase of their lives, from their first pregnancy through menopause. Each phase has its own challenges. I am here to answer questions, and share in the ups and downs each step of the way. I feel very honored members have entrusted me with their care and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and try to live it in my life every day. Family is my highest priority. My wife, son, and I spend most weekends with our extended family. We also enjoy family outings to the movies, and quiet time at home. To stay fit I like going out for a run, and playing ball with my son.
