About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and patients, and look forward to meeting you.

Biography

I grew up in Iowa and received my bachelor’s degree at the University of Iowa. (Go Hawks!) Then I moved out to California for podiatry school. I very much enjoyed not having to scrape ice off my car windshield six months out of the year, so I stayed in California. I did my first two years of residency at the VA Palo Alto teaching hospital, and then another year at Kaiser Permanente in Sacramento. It was there that I realized how much I believed in the integrated medical system Kaiser Permanente provides, and I feel fortunate to have been able to make this my professional home.

About my practice

I enjoy all aspects of podiatric care, from ingrown toenails to trauma and reconstructive surgery.

How I thrive

I try to stay mentally and physically fit. I do my best to go to the gym daily. I run, spin, and lift weights. What I look forward to the most is my nightly walks with my husband and two dogs.
