Welcome to my Web page. I have been an infectious diseases specialist since 2002 and enjoy the challenges of treating patients every day. My goal is to maintain my patients’ health and relieve their pain and suffering through the practice of medicine.
I was born and raised in San Francisco and am fortunate to have done all my schooling in California. I moved to Los Angeles in 1997 to complete my training and have stayed here since. I enjoy the weather here and intend to stay for the long haul. I have two boys who are a joy, most of the time.
My primary duties are seeing patients in the clinic and hospital for consultation or follow-up appointments. I work closely with a stewardship pharmacist to guide the appropriate use of antibiotics. Teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and staff is also an important part of my work.
My personal and professional goal every day is to do the best I can.
