About Me

Dr. Randall W. Leyking graduated from University of California at San Diego (UCSD) in La Jolla, CA with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Spanish Literature.

Biography

He received his medical degree of doctor of podiatric medicine from Dr. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. He completed his three-year podiatric surgical and medicine residency at Loma Linda VA Hospital in Loma Linda, CA. He was co-chief podiatric resident during his third year of residency. Dr. Leyking gained extensive medical and surgical experience in geriatric foot care, vascular surgery, diabetic wound care, and limb salvage at Loma Linda VA Hospital. He worked closely with vascular surgeons, physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians, dieticians, pharmacists and endocrinologists at the hospital through a multi-disciplinary team called the Preservation Amputation Care Team (PACT) in order to prevent or delay foot or limb amputation in high risk patients.

About my practice

Dr. Leyking pursued private practice in July of 2010 after residency and joined a group practice with Bay Harbor Podiatry Group in Torrance, CA for 6.5 years before joining Kaiser Permanente full time in January 2017.

Dr. Leyking enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing and competing in running races and triathlons.
