About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I hope the information on this page will allow you to discover more details about my practice, and I look forward to meeting you soon.

I was born and raised in California. I left the state for about 10 years for my medical training, but my family and I are happy to be back in the warmth of sunny Los Angeles. I chose to practice vascular surgery because it gives me many opportunities to improve the quality of life for my patients. I enjoy spending my spare time with my wife and two small boys.

About my practice

Although my practice is mainly centered at the West Los Angeles Medical Center, I do enjoy working with our residents and staff at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center on Sunset Boulevard. My team consists of myself, my physician partners, and our physician assistants, along with the many wonderful nurses in our clinic. My practice in vascular surgery offers patients the standard surgical management of carotid disease, aortic aneurysms, lower extremity atherosclerosis, dialysis access, venous disease, and lymphedema. I am also well trained in endovascular surgery techniques for minimally invasive treatment of these same diseases. At Kaiser Permanente West Lost Angeles Medical Center, we offer a comprehensive vascular treatment program to assist with the management of complicated arterial and venous conditions.

How I thrive

A low-stress lifestyle with exercise, healthy eating, and spending time with loved ones is important to a long, well-balanced life of good quality. I try to apply this philosophy to my own life as much as possible, and so far it seems to be working well. I also enjoy beach volleyball, running, cycling, and tennis. I recently started calorie-counting using my smart phone and I was able to lose 20 pounds within a few months just by portion control. Knowing my calorie needs and the costs of certain foods helps me stay fit and healthy. In my opinion, having a positive attitude leads to the best results in any endeavor or challenge.
