About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. I hope this page will help you start to get to know me. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian and grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. I’ve always been interested in medicine and joined Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles in 1991. I also enjoy doing research and teaching, so I also spend time at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.

About my practice

I feel that healthy living and preventive care are the best ways to stay healthy, but sickness is often unavoidable, and I am here for you under those circumstances as well. It continues to be a privilege for me to care for our Kaiser Permanente members.

How I thrive

I enjoy distance running and ran my first marathon in 1997 with my son. I have since completed more than 25 marathons and look forward to participating in many more. More recently, I have become interested in triathlon training. I have also been a surfer for many years. I enjoy playing guitar, piano, and violin (fiddle), and singing. I have played with other musicians from Kaiser Permanente at several member and employee functions. I especially enjoy spending time with my wife, kids, and grandkids!
