About Me

I was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. I completed my residency training in Hawaii and grew to love the islands so much that I decided to stay, and joined the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group in 1993.

About my practice

As a teenager, I was an active volunteer in various medical care fields and knew that one day I wanted to pursue a career in medicine. I chose to specialize in pediatrics because I love interacting with and caring for children and young adults while also getting to know their parents. Within the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, I appreciate the highly collaborative teamwork and access to information between various clinics and specialties which leads to higher quality and better care. As a pediatrician, I am committed to the prevention of illness through vaccinations and help to lead the immunization program at Kaiser Permanente Hawaii. I also believe that my patients and their families should lead healthy lifestyles and be active participants in their care.

How I thrive

I stay physically and mentally healthy by following a well balanced diet, exercising regularly and spending time with my family.
