About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I look forward to working with you to care for your health, and I appreciate this opportunity to share a bit about myself.

Biography

I was born in New York City, but I grew up in Southern California. As the daughter of two physicians – one of whom worked at Kaiser Permanente in Bellflower, I took a very early interest in medicine. In college, I majored in human biology at Stanford University with a concentration in health promotion and disease prevention. Following medical school at UCLA, and residency with a tremendous team of patient-oriented physicians, I practiced medicine in St. Louis for six years before returning to my Southern California roots.

About my practice

I find practicing medicine and building long-term relationships with my patients uniquely gratifying. Whether treating acute illnesses, helping patients manage their chronic medical conditions, or just helping them lead healthy, fulfilling lives through exercise, healthy eating, and preventive medicine, it is my pleasure and privilege to provide comprehensive care to members from adolescence through adulthood. We are truly fortunate at Kaiser Permanente to have such a wide variety of resources available to help members optimize their health and truly live well. I am proud to be part of a team of caring doctors, nurses, and support staff, all of whom work together to help our members achieve these goals.

How I thrive

I enjoy cooking, tennis, reading, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my husband and our two wonderful daughters.
