Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I’m happy to have the opportunity to tell you about myself and my practice.
I grew up in Dunedin, Florida, which is near Tampa Bay. I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, and then attended medical school at ATSU-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri. After completing residency training in family medicine at Los Angeles County Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, I worked in community clinics in underserved areas of Los Angeles and San Diego.
I am very excited to be an urgent care physician at Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center. It has brought me home to the community where I have lived most of my adult life. The Urgent Care Department gives members care they need when they cannot immediately see their personal physician, but they do not have a life, limb or vision-threatening emergency that would necessitate going to the Emergency Department. To better serve my patients, I have pursued additional training in LGBTQ health care.
I play soccer and am a founding member of the Long Beach Waverunners Football Club. I am also an avid runner, having completed the Los Angeles Marathon 5 times. I speak Spanish fluently and have a working knowledge of German, French, Russian, and Portuguese.
