About Me

Hello welcome to my Web page. I’m looking forward to taking care of you.

I was born (in a Kaiser Permanente hospital) and raised in Orange County. I was salutatorian of Laguna Hills High School and a National Advanced Placement Scholar. Having spent the next 14 years at USC, I am a true Trojan at heart. I was part of the Baccalaureate/MD program at USC, graduating with Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, and AOA honors. I then trained at the prestigious USC/LAC+USC Medical Center Integrated Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery program, followed by additional training in hand and microsurgery at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. After a short stint in academic practice in Las Vegas, I returned home to Orange County and happily joined Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

My practice includes the full scope of plastic and reconstructive surgery, including complex upper and lower extremity, breast, and facial/nasal reconstruction. My goal is to use current and sophisticated techniques to provide the most cutting edge reconstructive options to my patients. I’m a strong believer in medicine based on evidence, and providing safe and efficient surgical care. In additional to a busy surgical practice I serve as a consultant reviewer and editor for many plastic surgery and hand surgery journals. I’m also an assistant editor for the Plastic Surgery Educational Network.

How I thrive

I enjoy playing ice hockey, baseball, and working out at the gym. My family and I also enjoy discovering new and exciting restaurants. A work-life balance is essential and our family tries to spend time with each other as often as possible.
