About Me

I am a native of Nevada and have spent the majority of my life in Las Vegas. I was fortunate to have stumbled upon a career that has fulfilled all of my wants and has allowed me to make a meaningful impact. My family’s move to the Pacific Northwest was many years in the making. My wife grew up in the Salem-Keizer area, and through years of visits, I grew to love the region. We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to purchase a home three doors down from my in-laws, who are very active in our children’s lives. We had long planned to retire in the area and are now realizing our dream.

About my practice

Having spent the first two decades of my career in a multi-specialty practice in a managed care environment, I knew before coming to Kaiser Permanente that it would be the right fit. My previous practice and KP share many similarities in our common mission to provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care. I believe that through innovation and compassion we can provide better care for our members. I practice primarily in the field of urgent care. My particular medical interests are procedures, teaching, and telemedicine.

How I thrive

My wife and I enjoy spending time with our four children and just watching them grow. Our hobbies include hiking, biking, working out, and just about any water activities. My wife is a reality TV addict, so naturally I am too. I have a special interest in teaching, having worked with students and residents for more than two decades.
