About Me

I was born and raised in Kailua on the Windward side of Oahu.

About my practice

I've always been intrigued by science. My specialty, same-day care, is challenging and enjoyable to me because of its fast pace and variety. I have a master's degree in physician assistant studies from the Western University of Health Sciences, and I’m a member of the Hawaii Academy of Physician Assistants. I stay current in my field by utilizing UpToDate, an online clinical resource, and Medscape, as well as attending professional conferences in my field. I also view every interaction with my colleagues as an educational opportunity. In addition to English, I speak and read Hawaiian. I was attracted to the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group because of the professional teamwork found in the organization. The integrated system of care delivery, along with the electronic medical record, great staff support, and state-of-the-art technology, assist me in doing my very best for my patients. I believe that honest, open, compassionate communication is key in providing high-quality care to patients. I also love that Kaiser Permanente caters to the needs of the community through volunteerism and philanthropy, and is so involved in community events such as the Annual Day of Service.

How I thrive

In my spare time I enjoy running, hiking, playing softball and soccer, and spending time with family and friends.
