Hi, and welcome to my Web page.

Biography

A recent transplant to Southern California, I grew up in rural New Jersey. I earned my undergraduate degree in biology from Duke University in North Carolina. I then spent twelve years living, studying, and working in New York City. I received my medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. I stayed at Columbia to do my general surgery internship and urology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center, followed by a three-year fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. I have spent time working with radiation and medical oncologists, and favor a multi-disciplinary approach to treating cancer.

About my practice

I am a fellowship trained urologic oncologist at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center. I specialize in open, laparoscopic, and robotic-assisted surgery for the treatment of urologic cancers, including prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer, and other cancers of the genitourinary system. I am also trained in general urology, including the treatment of kidney stones and benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH)

How I thrive

I try to spend as much time as possible with my family. I enjoy bicycling and hiking. I , and try to stay fit by going to the gym regularly. I love to travel, and do photography.
