About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I am very proud to be a Kaiser Permanente physician. I strongly believe in our commitment to preventive medicine. My practice is dedicated to the preservation of vision.

Biography

As long as I can remember, I wanted to be a physician. I had an eye injury from a baseball when I was in elementary school and I remember being very scared that I would lose my vision. I was also afraid that the medical treatment would be painful. That was my first introduction to ophthalmology. I fully recovered and decided that I would use my talents to help people with their vision.

About my practice

My practice consists largely of patients with cataracts. On a daily basis my clinic assistant and I see patients who have developed cataracts and have all the associated fears. We pride ourselves in our ability to allay these fears and guide our patients through the surgical process with confidence and comfort. I think I have the best job in the world!

How I thrive

I strongly believe in the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of healthy living. I thrive by eating a nutritous diet and exercising frequently. My favorite activities are biking, swimming, and running. I am proud to say that I completed the LA Kaiser Permanente triathalon.
