I was born in Soldotna, Alaska, and spent most of my youth in Anchorage. After graduating high school, I moved to Fort Collins, Colorado, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry at CSU. After college, I made my way to Galveston, Texas, for medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch. In Galveston, I met my wife, who is also a family physician.
I enjoy being a family physician because I have the opportunity to heal the ailments and enhance the lives of a wide variety of patients. Serving the local community and treating the entire family is what makes being a family doctor so special. I look forward to seeing my patients and enjoy learning about you. I work with you to make treatment plans that meet your needs and lifestyle, and coordinate your care with our team of specialists, pharmacists and others. Electronic medical records help me to see the big picture of your health, so I can make good use of our time together and answer your questions.
It is important to have balance in life to keep the mind and body healthy. To maintain this balance, I enjoy spending quality time with my wife, family and friends. I also enjoy exploring the outdoors, watching live music and traveling.
