About Me

Hello and welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and your family and tell you about my practice. I feel fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my friendly colleagues and wonderful and diverse patients and their families. I look forward to working together with you and your children to care for their health.

Biography

I was born and raised in San Diego but traded the warm weather to attend medical school in chilly Michigan. I knew I wanted to become a doctor from a young age, and my desire was confirmed when I participated in a job shadowing program in middle school. This was an experience where I spent my Saturday mornings with resident doctors at the UC San Diego Medical Center. I am happy to now be involved in a similar program called Hippocrates Circle where I mentor eighth grade students who want to become doctors. My spare time is usually spent with my son and my husband taking walks, reading, and playing with our eight dogs, our macaw, and our cockatiel.

About my practice

I feel it is a privilege to be able to partner with my patients and their families to take care of health issues. I feel communication, listening, and empathy are vital in establishing a good relationship with my patients and their families.

How I thrive

I try to stay healthy by keeping a consistent balance in my life. My family gives me strength to continue trying my best to stay healthy and active.
