About Me

Hello! I am an ophthalmologist, a medical doctor who specializes in diseases and surgery of the eye. My office is at the South Bay Medical Center in Harbor City. I look forward to taking care of you and your eyes.

Biography

I grew up in Los Angeles and went to college at Caltech in Pasadena, which is a university that emphasizes science education. My medical training was completed at Washington University in St. Louis and at UCLA. I like ophthalmology because my work gives my patients a clearly better quality of life. I like to fix things and help people, and I like the precision and technology that eye surgery requires.

About my practice

I treat the large majority of eye diseases and do a variety of eye surgeries. As a general ophthalmologist, my surgical practice focuses on the treatment of cataracts. I work with eight other eye surgeons in our department, which includes subspecialists for cornea, glaucoma, oculoplastics, and retina. The training and credentials of each ophthalmologist are impressive. We have our own patients, but we work as a team.

How I thrive

My life outside of work is centered on bringing up our two young children with my wife, who is a head and neck surgeon also here at South Bay Medical Center. When we have the time, we like to travel.
