About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I am proud to work at Kaiser Permanente and look forward to partnering with you in your health care.

I grew up in Southern California, and both of my parents were physicians. At a young age, I was inspired by their commitment and service to their patients, which had a positive impact on their patients’ lives. After receiving my undergraduate degree from Harvard University, I attended Chicago Medical School where I was elected to the AOA Honor society. I completed my ob-gyn residency at Yale University. I was in a busy private practice group in Minneapolis and then was a professor at Tulane University, involved in resident education prior to returning home to Southern California. I chose to work at Kaiser Permanente because I believe it has excellent health care resources as well as physicians who strive to provide top-notch patient care.

About my practice

I am a general ob-gyn and work in the Normandie North office at the South Bay Medical Center. I appreciate the breadth of care that my specialty allows me to provide to women from their adolescent years to menopause. I enjoy caring for patients in the office, when they’re in labor and delivery, or when they need gynecological surgery. I feel that I am my patients’ partner in health and enjoy helping them make educated choices to maintain and improve their health. I understand that medicine involves life-long learning, so I endeavor to be abreast of the latest evidence-based practices in order to provide optimal care for my patients. I value your time, and my team works hard to provide you timely access to care.

How I thrive

I cherish my time with family and enjoy exploring new places with my husband and two children. I try to nourish my body, mind, and spirit on a daily basis with meditation, and look forward to my weekly dance fitness and yoga classes.
