About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I was born in India. Even when I was a young child, I knew that I wanted to be a doctor, in part because of the compassionate care I saw given by a close family friend who was a physician. My family moved to this country when I was very young. I obtained my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Southern California. My Ob/Gyn residency training was in the beautiful state of Hawaii! I began my career with Kaiser Permanente in Central California in 1999. In 2001, I moved back to Southern California to be closer to family and continue my career with Kaiser Permanente.

About my practice

I feel that medicine as a career is a very special opportunity to help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what patients need. It is a privilege to help patients understand what concerns them, translate what they may not understand, and help them receive the appropriate health care. I feel honored that patients have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

My family is very important to me and I enjoy spending time with them. I also enjoy baking, reading, and relaxing whenever I can.
