About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m pleased to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to work at Kaiser Permanente because of my wonderful colleagues and members, and I look forward to working with you to care for your child's health.

Biography

I’m a native New Yorker who spent my teen years in beautiful, sunny Southern California. I come from a traditional Latin American family—with strong religious and family values. I‘m very fortunate to practice pediatrics in the same community where I spent my teenage years. Being a pediatrician in my home community gives me the opportunity to give back to all those who helped me achieve my goals. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I love to teach.

About my practice

I love pediatrics and the many children I treat. This must be working well for me because I have a very busy practice! I care for children from birth to adolescence. Being a pediatrician allows me to meet parents and care for their children. My goal is to understand the parents and their children so I can provide comprehensive, compassionate care. I feel very honored that parents have entrusted me with the care of their children, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

I believe that to live well we need to be happy with who we are. Keeping the mind and spirit happy helps in the process of staying physically well. I stay close to family and friends, give of myself to others, and keep up with a regular exercise routine.
