About Me

I grew up in Savannah, Ga., and I attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. I decided to become a neurologist after having some amazing and inspirational professors and mentors in medical school. After completing residency and fellowship at Emory University, I have practiced in the Atlanta area. My amazing husband and I enjoy spending time with each other and with our beautiful daughter. We love spending time on our boat, traveling domestically and internationally, and spending time with family and friends. I am also an avid cook and football fan.

About my practice

I am a general neurologist and care for patients with all types of neurological conditions. These include diseases of the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. I have specialty interests in neuromuscular medicine and epilepsy. I am board certified in neurology, clinical neurophysiology, and electrodiagnostic medicine. I am focused on having good relationships with our members and helping them understand neurological disease. I think that good medical care requires a team effort and involves the patient, family, physicians and staff. I am fortunate to be working at Kaiser Permanente, an organization that agrees with this philosophy.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my family and friends. I feel that life is precious and it is important to embrace every day. We enjoy traveling and have been to various places in the United States, Caribbean, and Europe. We also enjoy our quiet days at home, talking and fishing.
