I was born and raised in Germantown, Wisconsin. I attended the St. Matthew's School of Medicine in Orlando, Florida and did a residency at Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago. I also did a fellowship at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine Department of Cardiology in New Orleans.
I am board certified in adult medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. In 2009 I joined the Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, where I am specializing in hospital medicine. I also work in the areas of internal and nocturnal medicine.
