About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am so happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I look forward to working with you as we care for your health together.

Biography

I moved from a little 'ole town in Michigan to the big state of California in 2004 and absolutely fell in love with the bright, sunny weather. Now I have made Southern California my home for good. I have the cutest Pomeranian puppy, named Harley, that my husband and I rescued from a shelter. My dog is a handful and keeps me busy outside of work.

About my practice

Ever since I was a child, my dream was to become a doctor and help those in need, and I am grateful to have that opportunity today. Medicine as a career is a very special way to connect with and help people in a meaningful way, utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what they need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes; it is a privilege to help people understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, facilitate getting them the appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care and strive to treat them as I would my own family.

How I thrive

I firmly believe in the Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit, and try to live it in my every day life. I love being outdoors in nature and my hobbies include hiking and mountain biking. I also love going to the beach and traveling, when I can. But, most importantly, I like to enjoy the simple things in life and to live in the moment of now. Keeping balance in my life is very important and I encourage you to do the same.
