About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m very happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice and myself. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I was born in a little rural town just outside of Toronto, Canada. I attended medical school at the University of Toronto and graduated in 1993. After graduation, I made my way south of the border and landed in the Bronx, New York, for my internship in internal medicine. For me, it was a year that was filled with tremendous personal and professional growth. On the advice of a friend, I came to a decision that was a defining moment in my life. That decision was to transfer to Los Angeles to complete my medical residency training. I met my future wife here in Los Angeles, and subsequently made Southern California my home.

About my practice

I’m an interventional cardiologist by training. I genuinely love what I do and feel very privileged to be a physician. A career in medicine represents a unique and rare opportunity to help others in the most meaningful of ways. I believe that my roles as your physician are many—they include being your facilitator, your advisor, your partner, but most importantly, your advocate.

How I thrive

Although work can sometimes be very consuming, my family is always there to keep my perspective. They help remind me that there are other priorities in life besides work. On most weekends, you can find me at a local baseball diamond watching one of my sons playing the game they love.
