About Me

Thanks for visiting my Web page. I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I am very proud to be part of such an outstanding group of physicians. I will strive to help you thrive to the best of my ability.

Biography

I was born and raised in Beijing, China, and I came to the United States for my Ph.D. studies. I performed both basic science and clinical research in pain and arthritis, and also received a National Institutes of Health (NIH) training grant for pharmacoinformatics in the study of pain mechanisms. I moved to San Diego for my internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship to be closer to family.

About my practice

I love practicing medicine and delivering a high level of care to my patients. I enjoy listening to my patients, using my medical knowledge and skill in order to help people feel better. An increased understanding of rheumatological diseases and the development of advanced medications during the past two decades have made it a fascinating and fun time to practice rheumatology!

How I thrive

I love hiking, reading, travel, and shopping. My kids are joy of my life. I try to spend as much quality time with them as I can.
