I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada. My family arrived in Colorado in 2010 after I spent more than 11 years in the United States Air Force as a family medicine and sports medicine physician. We chose Colorado for multiple reasons – the climate, outdoor activities, family friendliness, proximity to our family, and the collegiate/professional sports scene.
I was initially trained in family medicine and after five years of practice decided to do a sports medicine fellowship to focus my practice on non-surgical musculoskeletal problems. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages to learn about them and help with their musculoskeletal problems. Once we arrive at a diagnosis, I like to guide my patients through the available treatment options so we can determine what would work best for them. If the need arises, I can refer my patients to my exceptional surgical colleagues.
I most enjoy spending time with my wife and five daughters. We stay busy with a multitude of activities that include school-related events, swimming, dance, Taekwondo, hiking or just hanging out. We also enjoy cheering on all of the local sports teams.
