About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have this chance to tell you a bit about my practice and myself. As a Kaiser Permanente physician, my days are spent working with wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you to care for your eyes.

Biography

I was born in Washington, D.C., and raised in Maryland I headed south to Duke University for college, where I became a basketball fan. After my medical school and internship, I moved to California to train as a resident and have been here ever since. I am happily married and have two amazing children.

About my practice

Ophthalmology requires a unique blend of clinical and surgical skills. It gives me the opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with many of my patients. Connecting on an individual level is the most rewarding part of my job. A close second is the ability to restore and maintain someone’s sight with surgical procedures such as cataract extractions.

How I thrive

I have found investing in other people to be essential to a fulfilling life. My profession allows me this privilege on a daily basis. Spending time with my husband, family, and friends is a major source of relaxation and enjoyment for me. Running, biking, and salsa dancing are not only fun activities but also keep me active and moving.
