About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page!

Biography

I am originally from New Jersey but lived most of my life in Arizona. I am now elated to call San Diego home now. My wife and I love the year-round beautiful weather, which affords an outdoor lifestyle like no other place in the country. I graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1994. I completed my internal medicine training at Maricopa Medical Center in 1997 and am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. I have had different roles over the years, being in private practice as well as educating young physicians, and now am happy to be working in a group environment with such caring and professional colleagues. I have found that Kaiser Permanente is an excellent place to practice medicine. For example, the Kaiser Permanente electronic health record system makes caring for you easier and also improves the quality of care I can give you.

About my practice

I am an internal medicine physician in the Kaiser Permanente Vandever Medical Offices. I chose to become a primary care physician to make a difference in people’s lives. This specialty allows for a relationship with people like no other. People place their well-being and health in the hands of their physicians, and I believe there is no higher calling than to honor that trust with the best of my abilities.

How I thrive

I believe the key to staying healthy is having balance in all aspects of your life. Too often, our lives are hijacked by a mindset that we don’t have the power to make healthy changes in our lives. Taking that first step to a healthier, happier you is sometimes the hardest, but I have found it is never regrettable. I wish you well on your journey to health, and I would love to help you along the way.
