About Me

Hello and welcome to my Web page! I'm very happy to introduce myself as one of Kaiser Permanente's physicians. I'm glad to tell you about myself and what I do. I hope I can be of service to you and to your family!

Biography

I grew up and attended medical school in the beautiful and vibrant city of Manila in the Philippines. I was trained at the State University of New York, Stony Brook, where I did my internal medicine residency and geriatric fellowship. My wife is a native of Southern California and that is the reason why I'm here now. So far, I'm loving the place with its vibrant, multicultural community and, of course, the sunny weather. I have two lovely kids who make my life exciting and meaningful!

About my practice

I'm a geriatrician at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center. My practice mainly involves helping elderly patients with memory loss (dementia). It's a great privilege helping them with their disease and especially helping their family members cope. I have a dynamic and compassionate team working with me. All of us are specially trained in caring for elderly patients who have memory problems. Being a physician is indeed a great privilege. I'm here to serve members and the community. I hope I can make a difference in members’ lives, one patient at a time. I’m truly grateful for this opportunity to serve my patients.

How I thrive

I try to incorporate the Kaiser Permanente philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit in my life every day. I enjoy talking and helping my patients. I go to the gym regularly. I also like target shooting, tennis, and taekwondo. Most especially, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially with my two lovely kids.
