About Me

I am originally from Hagerstown, Md. I grew up in a very medically-oriented family, surrounded by physicians and nurses. In that environment, I learned what a privilege it is to be able to provide excellent medical care to one's community. I am delighted to be able to follow in their footsteps and care for women from puberty to post-menopause.

About my practice

I have a great passion for helping young women choose contraception methods that are ideal for their wants and needs. Along with this, I love to care for women during a very exciting time in their lives - pregnancy! To be a part of that experience is a privilege, and I feel extremely blessed to be involved in such a special time in a woman's life.

How I thrive

Exercise helps me thrive in both work and life. It is the greatest stress reliever! I workout by running, weight training, practicing yoga or taking a group class for an hour each day. It is the time in my day that my mind can be clear and focused on the current task at hand, rather than juggling multiple things at once. I believe this hour each morning helps prepare me for my day and ultimately helps me be a better clinician.
