About Me

I am an Oregon native, born in Eugene. I attended Stanford University for my undergraduate degree then returned to the Northwest to attend medical school at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) . After finishing my residency, I did three years of outpatient clinic in the Portland area before I picked up and moved with my dog to Kauai, where I was the first permanent hospitalist on the island. Once back in Portland I joined Kaiser Permanente Northwest and have continued my career of hospital medicine. I live out in the country with my three young children, husband, and Bernese Mountain Dog. I enjoy cooking healthy meals, reading cookbooks and novels, and exercising most days of the week.

About my practice

I am a full-time hospitalist, caring for patients in the hospital.

How I thrive

I thrive on regular aerobic exercise, "eating clean" by avoiding processed foods, and hanging out with my three little ones, who keep me running and on the go.
