About Me

Even at an early age, there were signs pointing my way to a career in medicine. I loved working with my hands and was good at math and science; therefore, medicine seemed a perfect fit. When I was a medical resident, I met a truly talented surgeon who inspired my life's work. He introduced me to the world of female pelvic medicine and surgery. I witnessed how he was able to change someone's life in a matter of hours, and I was hooked. I have been a female pelvic reconstructive surgeon for the past four years, and I love it!

About my practice

I specialize in the evaluation and management of female pelvic floor disorders including pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and certain pelvic pain syndromes. I believe in individualized care, and my broad training with the best in my field allows me to offer this with the utmost expertise. It is my job to not only make my patient comfortable discussing her symptoms, but to assure that she leaves my office knowing she is not alone, she has options and she will receive the best care possible.

How I thrive

I enjoy listening to music, traveling and spending time with family and friends. I volunteer for Links, Inc., Habitat for Humanity and the Boys and Girls Club. My charities of choice are Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, Humane Society and The Smile Train.
