About Me

Hello. I'm happy to introduce myself as one of the gynecologists at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center.

Biography

I was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, but grew up in Mexico City and Miami, and because of this I speak Spanish fluently. I attended college in Boston at Brandeis University, and medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia. After all that time on the East Coast I became tired of winter weather, and moved to Los Angeles for further training. I completed my residency here at the Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Once I finished, I stayed on here as an attending physician. In all my time here I've seen our department grow and develop and I'm very proud of the care that we provide.

About my practice

As a general obstetrician/gynecologist I see women at all stages of their lives. I have special interests in normal and high-risk pregnancies, and also in office procedures for sterilization and for treatment of abnormal bleeding from the uterus.

How I thrive

I thrive by spending time with my husband and daughter, exercising, and cooking.
