I earned my medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, and completed my residency at Eglin Air Force Base Hospital in Florida. I am board certified in Family Medicine and I have a master’s degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, I spent three years working with the United States Air Force (USAF) at Vandenberg Air Force Base near Santa Barbara, California, where I took care of active duty troops, family members and retirees.
Although I enjoyed my time serving our country with the USAF, I am excited to be part of Kaiser Permanente because it has allowed me to settle in my home state of Colorado and continue pursuing my passion – doing my absolute best to provide evidence-based medicine and top-notch care to my patients. I enjoy seeing patients of all ages, and am enthusiastic about forming lasting and meaningful partnerships with my patients and their families over the years. Kaiser Permanente’s integrated services allow me to easily coordinate your care with medical specialists. I believe in open, two-way communication so my patients fully understand and agree on their care plan.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three young children. I enjoy tropical medicine and have been blessed with the opportunity to serve on medical missions in Africa and Central Asia. I hope to continue to serve in medical missions in the future. I am an avid outdoorsman always looking for opportunities to go skiing, mountain biking, hiking, jeeping, mountain climbing, rafting and camping.
