About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have this chance to tell you a little about my practice, and I look forward to working with you.

Biography

I was born and raised in San Diego. I attended UCLA, where I met my future wife. I went to medical school at UC San Francisco and completed my residency in internal medicine at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland. I returned home for subspecialty training in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at UC San Diego.

About my practice

I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008 and am happy to be a part of this organization. The endocrine service in San Diego works as a team to treat all aspects of endocrine disorders and diabetes. We work in a very friendly, helpful atmosphere and are constantly learning from our patients and one another so that we can continue to provide better service. To this end, I serve as a volunteer assistant clinical professor at UC San Diego and enjoy teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. My goal is to deliver treatment that is practical, suited to your particular needs, and based on the most current evidence and research.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I try to keep up with my wife and four kids doing various outdoor activities and travel.
