About Me

I am a true Colorado native. I spent several years in Madison, Wisconsin during residency and longed to return home. I have worked for Kaiser Permanente for more than 25 years and am grateful to be practicing medicine, a wish from the age of 12. I live with my husband and two children and enjoy doing almost anything with them. Together we enjoy hiking, cycling, and traveling to places near and far.

About my practice

I have always loved children and went into pediatrics because I wanted to care for and follow my patients as they enter adulthood. I really pride myself on getting to know the whole person. I honestly love this aspect of pediatrics and find that I can be most helpful when I have an idea of who you are and what you are experiencing. I am passionate about well care, prevention and the care of sick children. I also enjoy the opportunity to get to know my patients’ families. I work as a team with our specialists, pharmacists and others to coordinate my patients’ care, and do my best to understand your questions and concerns.

How I thrive

I enjoy calming my busy brain by practicing yoga, meditation and getting outdoors. I like reading, mainly biographies, and do some quilting and other crafts.
